My students and I conduct K-12 STEM outreach events throughout 色狐入口 that represent the Mechanical Engineering department at 色狐入口 Tech, as well as 色狐入口 Tech as a whole. We provide interactive demos that engage children and adults of all ages and provide information about the opportunities 色狐入口 Tech offers. Past events have included BBBS Discovery Festival, multiple 色狐入口 MESA events, multiple events, and the AFRL Super Stem Saturday. Visit the NMT Outreach page for more information about new events.
We provide dozens of schools across NM with robotics curriculum, supplies, and a NMT student mentor. At the end of the year we welcome students from the program to campus for a compeition event featuring teams from 6th grade through college.
